Claro is an equalizer that supports the production process from composition to the final mixing stages, keeping you focused and accelerating your workflow through three distinct views.

PRODUCE
Claro is a creative and streamlined EQ that actively encourages musical creativity; the PRODUCE section provides rough EQ adjustments. Thanks to the unique auto-gain, no volume changes occur as each bandwidth is adjusted.

TWEAK
Further correction is made based on the PRODUCE results, resulting in the cleanest and most flexible EQ effect possible, further enhancing the transparency that is a trademark of Sonnox.

MIX
Everything you need to understand and assemble a mix is here. All tracks are displayed in context, allowing you to prioritize, examine interactions between different tracks, and quickly deal with the frequencies of tracks fighting for space.

Tweak the whole thing first, adjust details later Control the EQ without stopping the flow - Focus first on where the energy is and what tonal characteristics you want to achieve rather than whether the EQ curve is correct.

Mid-side EQ is essential for adjusting stereo synth sounds and loops. As with tone shaping, you can switch to Width mode to see where the side channel energy comes from and tweak it.

Practical Auto Gain Not the familiar auto-gain of other EQs, Claro's auto-gain works uniquely, keeping the shaped track at the same loudness no matter how you shape it.
Boosting does not unbalance the mix or cause conflicts with other tracks.

"Sculpting" the sound Sometimes, it is necessary to go into finer detail to adjust a filter's resonance, balance left/suitable or mid/side widths, or attenuate resonant areas that cause boxiness or unpleasant peaks.

Claro's Adaptive Spectrum Analyzer gives you the information you need, along with the Q of the channel (left, right, mid, side, stereo) and the band being selected. No more boosting or sweeping; Claro identifies resonances and lets you control how much or how little you want to attenuate.

Multi-track workspace Develop the skill of refining your mixes through a series of minor adjustments around lead elements. See "Claro instances" of the entire project. See how the energies of the tracks interact and how some sounds "mask" others and make them less audible. Drag and drop to adjust the EQ for any combination of tracks.

Areas where each track interacts with the top EQ slot and may sound boomy, muddy, or harsh when heard together are marked in yellow.

Cleaner Sound With Claro, parameter completion is smoother than ever, but why is that important? When parameters are automated, "zipper" noise and other audio artifactual noises and distortions can occur.
