Forbidden Planet has three filter inputs: high-pass, low-pass, and band-pass. The high-pass section is this module's signature sound and is designed to add high-pass filtering capability to Tiptop Audio's wide range of Eurorack modules. Feed an intense kick drum into the high-pass section to filter out the bass while maintaining the pulse of the beat. The bandpass is great for accurate sound design or shaping audio in its sweet spot while cutting low and high frequencies. Low Pass is a classic -12dB 2Pole analog slope that sounds great for filtering down to mono synth patches or ideal low-end bass.

Resonance uses an internal feedback path that sounds smooth or aggressive, depending on the knob setting. Lower settings emphasize cutoff harmonics, intermediate settings initiate self-oscillation, and near the maximum setting, interesting sounds and fine-grained self-oscillation take you into the world of science fiction.
