The 3511ES is a versatile unidirectional stereo kit that uses the 4011ES unidirectional compact microphone as a stereo pair and has been carefully adjusted to keep residual noise, sensitivity, and frequency response deviations within 2 dB.

The kit comes with accessories that are mainly useful when installing a microphone inside a piano. The XY/ORTF holder is a very useful and excellent item that can be used for a variety of purposes. For example, in addition to piano, it can be used as a drum overhead, wind instruments, strings, choir, or as a main microphone or additional spot microphone for large and small acoustic ensembles, and is compatible with a wide variety of programs.

The 3511ES comes with many accessories, including a CXO4000 (XY/ORTF holder), two GM1500 (gooseneck mounts), and two MB1500 (magnetic bases), all in a compact case.
