UDO Audio / Super 6 Blue

Super 6 is a 12-voice polyphonic, binaural analog hybrid synthesizer. It results from the harmonization and fusion of state-of-the-art FPGA digital hardware oscillators and the voltage-controlled analog technology often employed in vintage gear, resulting in a gorgeous analog sound output that can instantly answer the demands of various players. Its rich sound quality, both subtle and powerful, is formed by a unique super wave table core, binaural analog signal path, and advanced modulation. The sophisticated control panel allows the player to create sounds using overflowing sensibilities.

The SSI2144 replicates the SSM2040 from legacy chipmaker Solid State Micro Technology, which many believe to be the best-sounding analog synthesis filter IC ever made. The SSI2144 is a Dave. Rossum's patented improved ladder topology allows for rich tonal characteristics that represent the best of subtractive synthesis.
