Make Noise / QPAS

QPAS is an analog filter with a 4-core state variable filter that can simultaneously output LP/BP/HP/SP.

QPAS (Quad Pass) is a stereo filter with four filter cores that produces a unique filter sound. QPAS is an abbreviation of ""Quad Peak Animation System"" and represents a system in which multiple stereo-spaced peaks move around within one channel. QPAS is a quad-core filter that consists of four identical state variable filter cores, and has a powerful control system for the operation of stereo multi-peak operation, producing unique stereo filter sounds with simple patching and control.

When Tony Rolando, founder of Make Noise, was working at Moog, he got the idea from the wonderful filter sound he heard from the headphones while calibrating the Minimoog Voyager. QPAS was developed from that idea and designed to maximize the effect of multi-peak animation.
