DenisWick Advanced Formula Valve Oil. Silky smooth valve action lasts for 3-4 weeks. Contains PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) to reduce friction and prevent oil evaporation. Can be used not only on pistons but also on rotary instruments such as French horns and tubas.

古い楽器の（ワンポイント）救世主

フロントピストンのテューバが偏摩耗によって動きが悪くなってしまった時にこのオイルに救われました。白濁しているのはPTFE（ポリ・テトラ・フルオロ・エチレン）で、これがピストンに膜を貼って動きを助けてくれます。
しばらく連続使用してPTFE膜が出来たら普通のオイルに戻して大丈夫です。ていうか、このオイルはピストンだけでなく抜差管等にも膜を作ってしまうため、使用中は緑青色に染まった謎の寒天状の物体が生成されてしまいます。（商品説明には「残留物が出ない」とありますが、思い切り出ます）
いざとなったらこれに頼るしかないが、できれば頼りたくない（笑）、そんなオイルです。
