BASSKNOB - STD is a groundbreaking bass amp simulator that gives you the sound of a bass amp you can hear on an album just by turning the knob. Using the latest amp sim technology, it has everything a bass plug-in should have: uncompromising sound quality, faithful dynamics/response, and articulation.
Creating the perfect bass sound for your mix is an art. The world's most experienced metal producer Jens Bogren and his team of digital modeling experts have condensed Jens Bogren's favorite bass amp to the entire studio recording chain into a ""ready-to-use plug-in"" using cutting-edge algorithms. You can start up BASSKNOB - STD and focus on your production in seconds. It also has two channels, CLEAN / DIRT, so you can get a more suitable gain for your song.
BASSKNOB - STD is based on Jens Bogren's famous American-made tube bass amp head, which is his personal property, and delivers its roaring sound through a classic 8x10 cabinet. Captured through ultra-high quality microphones, preamps and studio processors, Jens' 20+ years of recording experience are all ""one-knob"" controls to give you not just an amp rendition, but a sound that will sit right in the mix - the same tools he uses on Sepultura, Kreator, Opeth and more.
