The JBL PULSE 5 is the latest model in the JBL PULSE series, offering 360-degree all-around enjoyment of the gorgeous illumination and JBL sound. The design and performance have been significantly upgraded to create a highly personalized model that allows users to create their effects more freely according to their mood and scene.

The transparent area of the housing has been expanded, and the new model has 149 LEDs, 15% more than the previous model, for a more vivid illumination. The bottom of the unit also has LEDs, which create a unique floating effect when reflected on the ground surface, and the LEDs change smoothly at 50 fps, synchronizing the visualization with the music to provide a completely new, high-definition viewing experience. In addition, five different environmental sound modes, "waves," "sound of insects," "bonfire," "forest," and "murmuring stream. The system has five different ambient sound modes: "Waves," "Insect Sounds," "Bonfire," "Forest," and "Screaming. This allows users to create a relaxing space with a rich sense of nature indoors and outdoors, even when music is not being played. A dedicated application allows users to customize lighting colors and patterns, ambient sound modes, and sound quality in detail according to their mood.

Regarding sound quality, the new model has a newly developed two-way speaker with a coaxial arrangement of tweeter and woofer and a passive radiator with a 15% larger surface area than the previous model on the bottom of the main unit. The cabinet capacity has also been increased by 33%. The amplifier has significantly increased in power from the previous model's 20W to 30W + 10W, allowing the user to experience a higher sense of scale. The professional-derived powerful sound has evolved.

In addition, it is IP67 waterproof and dust-tight and features a new strap on the back of the chassis for easy portability. The new unit can be easily carried and enjoyed in the living room or bedroom and when relaxing in the bathroom or anywhere indoors or outdoors where water, sand, or dust may be a problem. It can be used in various settings, from relaxing time at home to outdoor activities and party venues.

以前までのモデルに比べ、筐体上下の機構部分を減らし、透過面を拡大することでよりダイナミックにライトショーを楽しんでいただけるようになりました。お好みに合わせて約6万色のライティングからカスタマイズ出来る自分だけのインテリアとしてもお使いいただけます。さらに、本モデルよりストラップを新搭載。筐体の透過面に指紋を付けることなく、より気軽に持ち運ぶことができるようになりました。天面のディフューザーにプリントされたシンプルで力強いJBLホーンロゴと、前面に施された存在感のあるJBLボールドロゴがアクセントとなっています。

合計149基のLED搭載で音楽にシンクロする高精細なライトショー

カクテルグラスのような美しいデザインの本体にLEDを140基搭載。さらにそのLEDを50fpsの高速で変化させることにより、滑らかで煌びやかなライトショーを演出します。また本モデルより新たに、底面のパッシブラジエーター部にもプロジェクションLEDを 9基搭載。接地面に反射する間接的な光が独特の浮遊感を生み出します。盛り上がるシーンもリラックスしたムードも自在に表現することができ、シーンに応じて筐体と底面のLEDをそれぞれ消灯することも可能です。

自然の音でリラックスしたムードを演出する環境音モード

本モデルには、“波”、“虫の声”、“焚き火”、“森”、“せせらぎ”の5種類の環境音モードを搭載。「JBL Portable」アプリを使用し、それぞれの音をお好きな組み合わせに掛け合わせ、豊かな自然の音を最長60分間流し続けることができます。音楽を再生していないときでも、リラックスした空間を演出します。

部屋中を満たす360度に広がる全指向性サウンド

新開発のツイーターとウーファーが同軸状に並ぶ2wayスピーカーと本体の底面にパッシブラジエーターを搭載することでJBLならではのパワフルサウンドを放射状に再生。部屋のどこに置いても変わらずに音楽を楽しめます。また、前モデルと比較してパッシブラジエーターの迫力が増し、JBLならではのキレのある低域から高域からまで、より明瞭で力強いサウンドをお楽しみいただけます。

“今の気分”に合った音と光をアプリでカスタマイズ

カスタマイズを楽しめる専用スマートフォンアプリ「JBL Portableアプリ」に対応。本体とアプリとが連携し、音楽再生だけでなく、ライティングカラーやパターン、環境音モードのカスタマイズ、5段階・3バンドのイコライザー調整などの細かい設定が可能です。音楽と連動して光るライティングカラーは、65,351 色のカラーパレットから選択でき、6つのグループ、26のエフェクトから光り方も調整できるため、気分に合わせてお好みの演出をお楽しみいただけます。

IP67^※規格の防水・防塵性能に対応

キッチンやバスルームといったご自宅の水周りや、アウトドアにおいてもお使いいただけるIP67^※規格の高い防水・防塵性能に対応。全体が水に浸かってしまうようなアクシデントでも、砂などが入り込んでしまいそうな場所でも、安心して音楽をお楽しみいただけます。

粉塵がスピーカー内部に侵入しなく、水深1mの水中にスピーカーを最大30分間入れても浸水しないと定義されています。

複数台接続で一斉再生が可能な「JBL PARTYBOOST」搭載

対応スピーカー複数台を同時接続し、パーティーモードで一斉に音楽再生を楽しむことができる「JBL PARTYBOOST」機能を搭載。それぞれの本体にある「PARTYBOOST」ボタンを押すだけでペアリングでき、また、アプリを使用すればステレオモードとパーティーモードの切り替えや、左右チャンネルの入れ替えなどのコントロールも可能です。
