This mute was developed by Dennis Wick, who was a principal player of the London Symphony Orchestra, after repeated trial and error of prototypes. The Wah-Wah Mute (Extending Tube) is designed with an emphasis on traditional design. It has a distinctive feature that it resonates well even when the inner tube is extended or removed.
