SP-B-02NT Lockable Bridge Titanium Saddle Nickel Lefty is a guitar bridge (lefty) that has been improved from a unique perspective on the ABR-1 type, which is a classic specification among the TUNE-O-MATIC bridges installed on GIBSON guitars. It suppresses the rattling and excess resonance that was often seen in conventional bridges to the utmost extent, improving the natural sound and tuning accuracy. In addition, it uses titanium saddles to obtain a clear and sharp sound.

■FreedomCGR The Lockable Bridge was designed to improve the major structural weaknesses of the ABR-1 type bridge and dramatically improve its functionality and sound quality. In addition, the weight of the Lockable Bridge, which affects the tone, is made almost the same as the ABR-1 in order to minimize the change due to the weight on the tone of the ABR-1 itself.
■Settings when changing strings
The bridge body and the thumb nut for adjusting the string height of the ABR-1 are fixed only by the tension of the strings, so when the strings are loosened, the force holding the bridge down is lost and the bridge comes off easily, and the thumb nut for adjusting the string height under the bridge moves, resulting in the need to readjust the string height that was adjusted with great care every time the strings are changed.

The bridge saddle in contact with the strings of the ABR-1 is only held down by a retainer (wire), and is not completely fixed, so when the strings are plucked, the saddle vibrates, causing resonance and unnecessary vibration noise. This unnecessary resonance spoils the natural vibration of the strings, and can rob the guitar of its inherent sound and sustain.
■The FreedomCGR ""Lockable Bridge"" has the following three improvements in this area.
1. The bridge body is completely fixed with a locking cap.
2. Instead of using the retainer fixing method, the saddle is ""semi-fixed by the octave adjustment screw.""
3. A ""plastic washer"" is used as the bearing for the octave adjustment screw, which semi-fixes the octave adjustment screw.
This three-stage structure eliminates rattling between the parts and the bridge body, and allows us to achieve the following:
