This model uses brass material ordered by Birdland. Manufactured by GOTOH, which boasts high reliability in guitar/bass pegs. We have reproduced the specifications used by Gibson in the 1950s. The post/gear/washer is made of brass, which improves the harmonic effect and sustain unique to brass.

Some old Gibson models have thick heads around the 1st and 6th strings, and the peg post does not protrude much from the head surface, so the string may get stuck in the peg when wound.

So by making only the posts for the 1st and 6th strings 1.5mm longer, the distance from the head surface to the hole through which the string passes can be increased, and the string can be wound as firmly as other strings.

標準のペグだと6弦のポスト長に不安があったのでこちらに。
少し余裕ができ弦交換が安心になりました。
ギアまでブラスのためやや固めの巻き心地ですが、音はヴィンテージのような倍音がありいいと思います。

TokaiのレスポールJr.タイプに載せました。
元々は通常のクルーソンタイプでしたが、見た目にこだわりたく、またブラスの音の変化に期待して注文。
期待通り、ブラス特有の倍音が気持ち良いです。
また、ロングポストのおかげで６弦も綺麗に巻けました。
取り寄せしていただきましたが大変満足しています。
