VOCORDER is a compact combination module of an analog vocoder and a digital CV recorder (looper). The core of this module is an 8-channel analog vocoder with a total of 16 analog bandpass filters for analysis and synthesis.

The envelope CV for analysis generated analog from the ANALYSE audio input is digitized and output to the analog VCA of the synthesis channel via a DA converter. The envelope CV of the analysis channel is digitally recorded and can be played back in a loop. This envelope CV can be controlled in various ways. For example, you can instantly exchange the connection between the envelope CV and the filter channel (Rewire knob), change the speed and playback direction.

VOCORDER can also be used as a ""classic normal vocoder"" (direct vocoding). It has a VCO with three waveforms for synthesis and white noise. You can also use external sources such as chord sounds, guitar sounds, and drums through the SYNTHESE audio input.

Loops can be recorded for up to 3 minutes and are stored in the battery-powered memory even when the power is turned off.
