FLAME / X-4

It records and plays back 2 minutes of knob changes for audio/CV crossfading and panning.

The X-4 is a compact and versatile 4-channel envelope/VCA module. It saves space and allows you to use 4 channels of AR envelope and VCA combinations.

It is ideal for use with 4-channel oscillators such as FLAME 4VOX, allowing each oscillator to have its own AR envelope and VCA. Each channel can be used independently, or the VCA can be used alone.

The envelope speed can be switched between 3 speeds, from very short to long. You can morph the envelope with a slider (also controllable with CV) and even loop the envelope when a gate signal is applied.

The X-4 has 3 modes:

AR mode
Combination of attack/release envelope and VCA with independent CV control for each of the four channels (operated by gate signal)

AD mode
Combination of attack/decay envelope and VCA with independent CV control for each of the four channels (one-shot operated by trigger signal)

VCA mode
VCA with independent CV control for each of the four channels
