FLAME / Crossmix

Crossfader that records and plays back the movement of the knob that sets the amount of audio/CV for 2 minutes.

CROSSMIX is a dual-channel crossfader that can record/playback knob movements.

It can handle audio and CV, with an input voltage range of up to +-5V. Each channel has two audio/CV inputs, and the mix level can be adjusted by inputting a knob or external CV, such as an LFO (up to 125 Hz), into CVMIX. Pressing the REC button on each channel records the knob movements (or CVMIX) for at least 2 minutes each. The recorded knob motion can be played back in one shot by pressing the PLAY button or looped by pressing and holding the PLAY button.

The four inputs can be individually switched to +6dB audio levels using the slide switch on the back of the module.

Each channel has a RESET input to reset the playback position.

Recorded knob movements can be permanently stored even when the power is turned off by inserting the CR2032 button battery supplied with the module into the socket on the back of the main unit.
