FLAME / Chord Machine 2

A module with the ability to create up to 232 different chords and 70 different scales.

CHORD MACHINE 2 is a module with a chord generator, arpeggiator, and quantizer functions. It generates chords of up to 8 octaves and four parts. There are 42 preset chords and 16 user-defined chords, and you can also create expanded forms with the first, second, and third notes shifted by one octave for a total of 232 chord types. There are 54 preset scales and 16 user-defined scales for 70 different scales.

In addition to 2-, 3-, and 4-voice chords, CHORD MACHINE 2 provides an arpeggiator output that can generate arpeggios. The arpeggiator mode can be set for running direction (ascending, descending, alternate, random) and octave range. The arpeggiator channel can also be used like a quantizer, with different scales for ascending and descending.

The instrument incorporates a playlist function that allows 24 lines/10 parameters to be set and each function (transpose, program list parameters, arpeggio sequence, octave range, etc.) to be changed by an external CV signal. Twelve playlists can be saved.

Five CV outputs are set to 1V/Oct characteristics.

Firmware can be updated via USB.
