Developed with the cooperation of Andy Martin, a trombonist representing the West Coast of the United States. While inheriting the tight blowing feel of the YSL-697Z, we have achieved a smoother slide action by reviewing the slide clearance and modifying each part. By adopting an interchangeable mouthpiece and using the two types of mouthpieces (Z1 and Z2) included, this high-performance model will have an outstanding presence in any musical scene.

[Z1 type]
The taper is gentle and the overall length is short. By designing part of the receiver to be narrow, a moderate sense of resistance is achieved. It produces a good response suitable for a lead trombone and a strong, powerful tone.
[Z2 type]
The overall length is longer than the Z1 type and the taper is slender. A straight breath flow provides a smooth blowing feel. It produces a warm and colorful tone that is ideal for musicals and studio work that require a variety of expressions.
