YAMAHA / YFH-8315GS

This is the second generation model, an evolution of the YFH-8315G, designed by Wayne Bergeron. It features the heaviest phosphor bronze leadpipe screw of any Yamaha flugelhorn, and a two-piece gold brass bell. The longer leadpipe produces a fuller, more powerful tone.

The newly designed valve casing was developed after thorough analysis of the material, support, and everything else, resulting in an optimal blowing feel that allows the instrument to sound efficiently.

The mouth pipe uses an innovative design called the ""Maroon Pipe"" that improves the blowing feel and pitch of the high range. In addition, the pipe is shorter and more brass is used to achieve a free blowing feel and a traditional tone with a sense of color.

The screw is also newly designed with a bale shape, which not only makes the sound points clearer, but also makes it easier to aim for higher notes. In addition, the use of phosphor bronze as the material achieves a more powerful tone, featuring brilliant highs and rich midrange tones.
