xfilter is a stereo EQ that inherits the heart and soul of elysia's flagship EQ, museq. It achieves EQ sound with class A circuitry at an attractive price. Accurate stereo image is maintained by using stepped potentiometers that have been rigorously selected by computer and low-tolerance film capacitors.

This EQ does not compromise on flexibility. The xfilter features high/low shelving bands that can be switched to high/low cut filters with resonance, two mid-peak filters with two Q widths, wide and narrow, and a passive LC circuit (with shielded coil) that produces a glossy high frequency.

With an exceptionally open sound, straightforward transient characteristics, and solid punch, the xfilter is not only the best companion for the xpressor, but also an ideal partner for a variety of other attractive outboard equipment!

■Main features
・100% discrete analog
With discrete input, output, and mix stages and audio circuits that always operate in class A, the xilfter is an EQ with a very transparent, wide, and open sound.

・True stereo link EQ
The xfilter processes signals of two channels with one set of controls. This makes it a very rare true stereo link EQ on the market.

・High/Low Cut Filter with Resonance
You can switch the shelving filter to a high/low cut filter that can control the amount of resonance peak. This is a rare but very useful feature.

・Selectable Q width
You can choose from two types of Q width for the peak filter: wide and narrow. The Q width is independent of the gain knob setting.

・High-frequency EQ with passive LC circuit
There is a beautiful gloss in the high frequencies that can only be achieved with passive filters, and xfilter has that gloss! The LC filter with a shielded coil can apply a finishing ""passive massage"" to the sound source.

・Stepped knobs
All knobs on xfilter are 41-step potentiometers, allowing you to quickly and accurately recall settings from previous sessions.

・Computer-selected potentiometers
All double and quadruple potentiometers procured by elysia are computer-selected, and only good ones that meet the standards are allowed to proceed to the manufacturing process.

・Special low tolerance capacitors
All special film capacitors used in xfilter boast component tolerances that are more than twice as good as industry standards.

・Ground layer shielding
Each PCB in the four-layer structure uses a full copper foil board with one layer each, which helps prevent interference from electric fields.
