SILVERSTEIN oboe reed. The ambipolymer material has excellent moisture absorption and produces a rich sound similar to that of natural cane. It is also highly durable. The hardness is medium soft.

This PERTO model allows you to disassemble the reed and cork tube.
You can customize it by changing the cork tube to your liking or adjusting the length of the entire reed.

*Due to the characteristics of the product, the reed part is easily removed.

If you wish to use the included cork tube (Chiargi) as is, please rewind it with your preferred reed tape or thread before use.

*Ambipolymer is a synthetic material with water absorption and shape memory properties. Therefore, only when using for the first time, soak it in water for about 30 seconds and then blow it for about 5-15 minutes. The reed will become accustomed and the performance will improve. After that, it will always be in the best condition without having to soak it in water every time.
