VocalSynth 2 is a vocal synthesizer effect that expands the possibilities of vocals, evolves the sound of your songs, and produces a powerful vocal sound that will stand up to backtracks. Using five stompbox-style effect modules, you can freely process your recorded vocals, from retro robot voices to cutting-edge vocal effects you've never heard before. VocalSynth 2 is equipped with Vocoder, Compuvox, Polyvox, Talkbox, and Biovox, a vocal synth/effect module that can track and process human vocals.

■Main features
Biovox: Biological modeling of vocals allows you to adjust nasality, formants, vowels, etc. It can be used on vocals as well as any other audio material.

Stompbox-style effects: VocalSynth 2 has added two new pedal-style effects.

Three ways to play: VocalSynth 2 Auto mode, MIDI mode, and sidechain mode. Flexible design.

Inter-plugin communication function: VocalSynth 2 supports Neutron 2's Visual Mixer, Masking Meter, and Tonal Balance Control, allowing you to get a bird's-eye view of the entire song.

Comprehensive improvements to sound and usability: The Vocoder module, Talkbox, Polyvox, and Compuvox have been improved to be easier to use and more CPU-friendly. Sound quality has also been improved.

■Biovox: The science of vocals
This new vocal effect allows you to manipulate and create the biological characteristics of vocals. Scientifically modeling the structure of human vocals, it can handle any vocal or audio signal, adjusting the characteristics of human vocals such as nasal sounds, formants, and vowels. You can fine-tune it to match your song, or use it as a creative effect to emphasize it, or mess it up so much that you can't tell the original sound.

Equipped with a drag-and-drop effect chain that can be freely assembled to further evolve your sound. It comes with seven effects, including new and improved ones. Freely manipulate Shred, Ring Mod, Chorus, Distort, Filter, Transform, and Delay to create a cocktail of vocal effects with a perfect balance.

■Three play modes
VocalSynth 2 has a flexible structure and three ways to use it. In Auto mode, you can select a preset as soon as you start it up and apply the effect immediately. In MIDI mode, it is useful for generating harmonies from original vocals and controlling each parameter of the effect with a MIDI controller. In sidechain mode, you can control VocalSynth 2 with an audio signal and create effects that will open up new horizons in your production.

■Inter-plugin communication function
VocalSynth 2 adopts the same ecosystem as other iZotope products. Like Neutron, Ozone, and Tonal Balance Control, VocalSynth 2 supports inter-plugin communication, allowing you to adjust the sound interference between tracks without going back and forth between tracks or plug-ins. You can see VocalSynth 2 from Neutron 2's Visual Mixer and Masking Meter, and it interacts with Tonal Balance Control to provide real-time visual feedback.
