VocalSynth 2 is a vocal synthesizer effect that expands the possibilities of vocals, evolves the sound of a song, and creates an intense vocal sound that can stand up to backtracks. Five stompbox-style effects modules let you transform your recorded vocals, from retro robotic voices to cutting-edge vocal effects you've never heard before. VocalSynth 2 includes Vocoder, Compuvox, Polyvox, Talkbox, and the newly added Biovox, a vocal synth/effect module that can track and process human vocals.


■ Main functions
Biovox: Biological modeling of vocals, with adjustments for nasals, formants, vowels, and more. It can be used for vocals as well as any audio material.

Stompbox-style effects: VocalSynth 2 adds two new pedal-style effects.

3 playback methods: VocalSynth 2 Auto mode, MIDI mode, Sidechain mode, flexible design with 3 methods

Communication between plug-ins: VocalSynth 2 supports Neutron 2's Visual Mixer, Masking Meter, and Tonal Balance Control, giving you a bird's-eye view of the entire song.

Extensive sound and usability improvements: We've improved the Vocoder module, Talkbox, Polyvox, and Compuvox to make them easier to use and more CPU-friendly. Sound quality is also improved.

Equipped with many killer sounds
VocalSynth has been completely redesigned to deliver better sound faster. Every aspect has been carefully reviewed and various improvements have been added. For example, we've further improved the fidelity of the vocoder sound, optimized for the CPU, and added controls for each module. Presets have also been expanded to create killer sounds as soon as you install them.

■ Biovox: Science of vocals
This new vocal effect allows you to manipulate and create the biological characteristics of vocals. It scientifically models the structure of the human vocal and adjusts the characteristic parts of human vocals, such as nasals, formants and vowels, to handle any vocal or audio signal. You can tweak it to match your music, or use it as a creative effect to make it more intense, or mess it up so that you can't hear it.

■Use the stompbox!
Equipped with effect chains that can be freely assembled by dragging and dropping to further evolve the sound. It comes with 7 effects including some new and improved ones. Play with Shred, Ring Mod, Chorus, Distort, Filter, Transform and Delay to create a perfectly balanced cocktail of vocal effects.

■ 3 play modes
VocalSynth 2 is a flexible structure with three uses. In auto mode, you can select a preset as soon as you start up and apply the effect immediately. MIDI mode is useful for generating harmonies from your original vocals, or controlling each parameter with a MIDI controller for effects. In sidechain mode, you can control VocalSynth 2 with audio signals and build effects that open up new horizons for your production.

■ Communication function between plug-ins
VocalSynth 2 uses the same ecosystem as iZotope's other products. Like Neutron, Ozone and Tonal Balance Control, VocalSynth 2 supports plug-in communication, allowing you to adjust sonic interference between tracks without having to go back and forth between tracks and plug-ins. You can see VocalSynth2 through Neutron 2's Visual Mixer and Masking Meter, and it interacts with Tonal Balance Control to give you real-time visual feedback.
