IGS Audio / S-Type 500 VU

A 500 series format stereo compressor module that follows the famous bus compressor.

The S-Type 500 is inspired by the legendary British big-box console bus compressors, and the best-known features have been refined under IGS Audio's design philosophy.

At the heart of the compressor is a proprietary circuit, rather than the currently unavailable DBX-type circuit, resulting in the rich, dense sound that only IGS Audio can deliver. The analog path is balanced with an ultra-fast op amp, which is the source of almost perfect, transparent sound.

Achieving minimal levels of noise allows the device to be used in any musical environment and is additionally equipped with a sidechain HPF. As a result, the user can select the low frequency and pass any band without compression, and enjoy the advantage of being able to easily avoid pumping.
