""EMOTIONAL VIOLA"" is the third installment of the Emotional Strings series by Harmonic Subtones. Following ""EMOTIONAL CELLO"" and ""EMOTIONAL VIOLIN"", this viola sound source is as comprehensive as its predecessors. It is easy to play and also supports personal customization.

This product not only has excellent harmony with the cellos and violins released so far, but also expresses a wide range of sounds from general articulations to special articulations, true legato and rebowing as a solo instrument.

EMOTIONAL VIOLA includes over 50 articulations and variations. With an intricate and intelligent script, countless articulations are automatically selected intelligently to suit the user's playing style.

Almost all articulations are included in the Emotional Viola Master Patch. It includes a legato script that smoothly connects notes according to the performance, and True Legato provides an elegant performance and sound. Three different transition types are reproduced with portamento, finger legato, and rebowing, and can be controlled according to velocity.

EMOTIONAL VIOLA was recorded at Mastermix Studio in Unterföhring, Germany. This studio has excellent acoustic properties due to its high ceilings and wooden paneled walls, and was intentionally mic'd and recorded close to the instrument using two Neumann KM184s and a U87. Recorded in this way, it is easy to blend into the mix and easy to create sounds on the DAW software.
