DARK ERA is a software sound source that takes you to the dark ages before the Middle Ages, created by producer Eduardo Tarilonte, who has produced various cinematic sound sources. It contains instruments and sounds related to pagan music and old tribal rituals. The grace of plucking the gut strings of the string instrument Lyre. The unique sounds of wind instruments such as bone flutes, overtone flutes, fujara, wooden lur, and war horn. A group of intense percussion instruments including skin drums that have both the punch of hitting leather and the low range and do not get buried in the mix. The mysterious sound of throat singing such as khoomei. And a collection of soundscapes that collect pulsating pads and textures that bring out these instruments and singing voices. The fascinating sounds of DARK ERA are compatible with the previous ERA series, and are ideal for Viking metal and pagan folk music production, game / movie soundtrack production, etc.
The DARK ERA library consists of over 50 instruments, including rare and hard-to-obtain instruments. Instruments with multiple articulations can be played by switching in real time with a key switch. Wind instruments, in particular, offer a variety of playing techniques based on smooth legato. Ornamental phrases that are difficult to reproduce by programming and sound effect-like playing techniques that are burned into your mind are recorded from actual audio samples, so you can bring out the ""characteristics"" of the song. In addition, some instruments, mainly strings and percussion, have MIDI phrases mapped, so you can play in tempo sync with the project you are creating with just your fingertips. Another notable feature of the DARK ERA library is the Vocal category. Inuit Vocal Rhythms has 24 MIDI phrases and can trigger individual one-shots to play unique patterns. Throat singing, which allows you to adjust the amount of overtones, and other ethnic/ceremonial vocal materials that are different from the vocals included in past ERA series are collected. In addition, the Sound Design category contains over 100 types of sounds, including sound textures that allow you to move layered sounds in complex ways, and grand rhythm loops that combine multiple instruments and pulse sounds, which will help you create a mood of unease or unreality.
