ALPINE VOLKSMUSIK is a software sound source that collects instruments related to the Alps. It contains 24 types of instruments, including brass such as trumpets (solo/ensemble), clarinet, accordion, guitar/bass, synth bass, drums, percussion, and traditional instruments such as dulcimer, gillertar fiddle, and alpine bells. Each instrument has a key switch that uses different articulations to reproduce authentic performances. It also has parameters that add individuality to the performance, such as release noise for accordions and breath noise for clarines. It can be used not only for traditional music of the Alps region, including Tyrol (Austria), Bavaria (Germany), and Gorenjska (Slovenia), but also for arranging polka, Balkan pop, pop, hip hop, and more.
