""ANCIENT ERA PERSIA"" is a cinematic sound source that contains traditional instruments from the West Asia to the Middle East. 22 new instruments have been added to the lineup of the previous work ""DESERT WINDS"". The library of ""ANCIENT ERA PERSIA"" is composed of 28 multi-sampled patches ""Instruments"" that allow you to freely play percussion/strings/woodwinds, ""Loops"" that plays about 1,000 percussion loops recorded in multiple tempos and rhythms, and ""Phrases"" that plays string and woodwind performance phrases. And ""Soundscapes"" contains 50 textures that layer pads and ambiences to create meditative soundscapes with themes such as natural elements such as ""desert"", ""sky"", and ""wind"" and ancient history.





The samples in ""Instruments"" are sampled close with little ambience, and have a crisp and clear sound. In particular, the woodwinds, including ""ARMENIAN DUDUK"", ""PERSIAN NEY"", ""TURKISH NEY"" and ""ZOURNA"", which are continued from ""DESERT WINDS"", can be switched in real time with velocity and key switches, including legato, which is a characteristic of these instruments and very difficult to master, as well as vibrato, trills, and various ornaments. In particular, the legato uses samples of actual legato performances, allowing for very smooth phrasing. The strings are included in two categories: ""Bowed Strings"" such as ""Lyra"" and ""Turkish Violin"", and ""Plucked Strings"" such as ""Santoor"" and ""Turkish Oud"".
