Based on the original BT-500, Heritage Audio's first foray into IoT, the BT-500 v2.0 enables instant connection between studio gear and mobile devices over Bluetooth, even when the device is more than 100m* away.

The BT-500 v2.0 streams audio signals from mobile devices over Bluetooth and provides a fully balanced +22dBu stereo output.

The latest generation of audio-only Bluetooth technology, the highest codec quality supported by the device, and the advanced Burr Brown-based analog signal path make it easy to integrate your iOS/Android devices into your studio setup, freeing you from the hassle of the past.

Until now, there was no other way to connect than using a mini-jack to XLR converter cable, but the analog audio path on mobile devices is limited. Say goodbye to mini-jack cables, poor device connections, and faulty built-in ADCs!

Audio quality over Bluetooth? ?
BT-500 v2.0 keeps things simple by recognizing the best codec for your device, such as AAC**, aptX***, and SBC, and integrating seamlessly:

AppleMusic and YouTube use AAC* natively, so streaming from iOS devices is lossless, far better than analog wired connections.

The aptX codec used by the majority of Android devices is nearly lossless and is the standard used by wireless high-quality headsets and soundbars.

If your device does not support AAC or aptX, the BT-500 v2.0 will provide audio streaming using the legacy SBC codec.

Burr Brown's heritage in the analog path
The BT-500 v2.0 replaces the analog circuitry of your mobile device with a fully differential balanced output stage from Burr Brown, delivering a full output of 0dBfs=+22dBu capable of driving a 600Ω load. This allows you to directly compare levels during mixing/mastering while listening to references stored on the Apple iTunes Store or on your device.
