16-mode video synthesizer
Rhythm Scope is a video synthesizer that creates colorful video patterns synchronized with beats and rhythms by inputting audio signals from the outside. Optimized for rhythmic beats from Videoscope, you can enjoy a trip-like video pattern synced to music just by inputting a beat track.
With Rhythm Scope, 16 patterns + 1 random video pattern can be switched. You can enjoy various video patterns such as strobe, flash, rotation, and random pixels.
Ideal for live performances using projectors, etc.
* There is no sound from RhythmScope.
* Output is RCA analog composite (you may need a converter for your monitor to connect)
About power supply and input / output
A 9V (Center Plus) AC adapter (included) can be used as the power supply.
There are two inputs and outputs: a standard phone 1/4 "jack (MONO) that inputs external audio, and an RCA composite (NTSC) that outputs video generated from the input audio.
The modes that can be selected are the following 16 modes + random mode!
0, Random (turn right)
1, Glyphs
2, Puzzle
3, Printer
4, Bits
5, Solitary
6, Thin Neon
7, Timer 2
8, Timer
9, Blinds
10, Containers
11, Thick Neon
12, Continuous
13, Square Slopes
14, Brackets
15, Two-Tone
16, Strobe
To set the Random mode Rate, set the Mode knob to one of the above modes and leave it there for 1 second, then set the Mode knob to the Random mode position. The timing (Rate) of randomly switching modes is the same as the above mode number. For example, if you set the mode to [16-Strobe] for 1 second and then set it to Random, the mode will switch randomly each time 16 beats are detected. If you set the mode to [9, Blinds] for 1 second and then set it to Random, the mode will switch randomly each time the beat of 9 is detected.
