Rhythm Scope is a video synthesizer that generates colorful video patterns synchronized with beats and rhythms by inputting an external audio signal. It is optimized for rhythmic beats from Videoscope, so you can enjoy trippy video patterns that are synced with music just by inputting a beat track.

Rhythm Scope can switch between 16 patterns + 1 random video pattern. You can enjoy a variety of video patterns such as strobe, flash, rotation, and random pixels.

It is ideal for live performances using projectors, etc.

About power supply and input/output

The power supply can be used with a 9V (center positive) AC adapter (included).

There are two inputs and outputs: a standard 1/4"" phone jack (MONO) for inputting external audio, and an RCA composite (NTSC) for outputting video generated from the input audio.

You can choose from the following 16 modes + random mode!

To set the rate of the Random mode, set the Mode knob to one of the above modes, hold it there for one second, then set the Mode knob to the Random mode position. The timing (rate) at which the mode randomly switches is the same as the mode number above. For example, if you set the mode to [16-Strobe] for one second and then set it to Random, the mode will switch randomly every time a 16 beat is detected. If you set the mode to [9, Blinds] for one second and then set it to Random, the mode will switch randomly every time a 9 beat is detected.

The mode selector on the left allows you to switch between the 16 video modes, and the GAIN knob on the right allows you to adjust the sensitivity at which the audio input triggers the pattern change.
