Assistant View
Mix right there and then
A new Assistant View has been added to Neutron's assistant, which utilizes the power of AI. With this intelligent control center, you can quickly complete your own mix. When you start playing audio, the Assistant View immediately begins analysis and creates a starting point for sound creation. You will be guided to the intelligent control screen, so you can immediately incorporate your ideas.

After adjusting the strength of Punch and Distortion to create the general sound, open the Detail View to fine-tune it. This is your faster and more flexible mix assistant.

Target Library
Magical Tone Match
Make magical tones of your references. In real time. With the new Target Library and Tone Match technology, you can dynamically match your own material or stems to the sound of the tracks you are mixing. Load your references into the Target Library and the Assistant will match your drums, bass, guitar, vocals or audio tracks to the reference sound. Use our presets or your own sounds to easily get the tone you want.

Unmask Module
Resolve Overlap
Neutron 4 finds and resolves masking for you, so your mixes are clearer than ever. The new Unmask module creates space between two clashing tracks, so you can balance your bass and kick or make a vocal stand out in the mix. Resolve masking on tracks and buses in your DAW and adjust levels to find the perfect balance. Clear up muddy mixes in no time, no hassle.

Trash Mode (In Exciter Module)
Distort moderately or violently
Fan-favorite Trash has made its way into Neutron 4. Trash Mode lets you distort and destroy your sounds while mixing in a variety of timbres, so you can quickly reach extreme tones. Tune the character of your sound with the new Tone slider and explore the line between weird and cool. Use the Tame button to destroy your timbre while preserving the dynamics of the original material.

Punch Mode (in Compressor Module)
Control your impact
Create impactful sounds with the new Punch Mode. Visually control how hard you hit your notes. Add thump, punch, and snap to vocals, percussion, bass, and more. Dynamics are at your fingertips with Punch Mode, Modern Mode, and Vintage Mode.

Sidechain metering added to Compressor module
See how your track sounds and your sidechain. The perfect sidechain is here. See the dynamics with Neutron Compressor's new Oscilloscope View. After setting up your sidechain, use the Oscilloscope View to see how the waveform changes as a result of the sidechain signal coming in. From now on, compression will be heard by your eyes as well as your ears.

Improved performance
Neutron 4 is compatible with the Applie M1 chip, so it runs faster on Macs with M1.
