■3 types of modes (MULTI, STEREO, MONO)
iRig Pro Quattro I/O can be switched between 3 types of modes (MULTI, STEREO, MONO) with the MODE switch. In STEREO and MONO modes, all inputs, including the built-in MEMS microphone and loop back, are mixed into stereo (or mono). You can select the optimal mix for your application.

When using a DAW, select MULTI to route the MIC/INST IN 1-2 (for microphone/Hi-Z instrument input) to Input 1-2, the MIC/LINE IN 3-4 (for microphone/line input), the RCA IN 3-4 or the 3.5 mm Stereo IN 3/4 to Input 3-4.

■Genuine XY Microphone
iRig Pro Quattro I/O can be equipped with the optional iRig MIC XY microphone (bundled with iRig Pro Quattro I/O Deluxe). By using a cardioid condenser microphone in the XY format, you can record clear stereo sound.

The 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and 145 dB SPL dynamic range allow for natural and immersive field recording. In addition, the safety channel function provides a backup for unexpectedly loud inputs.

■Safety Channel
In STEREO and MONO modes, Input 3-4 selected for recording function as a safety channel that sends the same mixed signal as Input 1-2 at a 12 dB lower level. You can use Track 1-2 for recording as the main, and Track 3-4 as a backup in case of unexpectedly loud input.

■Loopback+ Function
The Loopback+ function allows you to go beyond normal loopback, such as singing along with a music app. This allows you to connect a microphone or line-level instrument to Input 3-4 of the iRig Pro Quattro I/O and route the signal processed by MixBox, AmpliTube, VocaLive, etc. to Channel 1-2.

This Loopback+ function allows you to stream with professionally processed audio and creative sound using only mobile devices such as iOS and Android.

■No recording media required
iRig Pro Quattro I/O can record digital audio that is faithful to the original sound directly to a mobile device or Mac/PC. This means that no recording media such as SD cards are required, and there is no need to format the audio. The recorded audio is stored on the host device, and can be immediately backed up to the cloud or shared using the network.
