KarDiaN / irodori onboard

Based on the KarDiaN ""Character Module Series"", this guitar onboard was developed as a self-modification of Limetone Audio's famous ""irodori"". Thanks to its small size, you can store a 9V battery (006P type, approx. 50 x 26 mm) simply by installing the module.

Irodori is a pedal that has a simple control of ""1 knob & 1 toggle"", but it is attractive because it covers all the points that players want. When I first encountered irodori, I felt that it had a refreshing clean sound that is typical of Limetone Audio, but it was never tasteless and odorless, and I felt that it had a slightly vintage-like taste and luster added to the music. Furthermore, the pedal's two modes, ""mellow"" and ""vivid,"" ensure its convenience while also allowing it to produce a wide range of sound characters, which is probably why it is so popular.

As for the irodori, as mentioned above, many artists use it with the effect on all the time because it is a booster pedal. I intuitively felt that if I combined it with KarDiaN's character module, which can be mounted on the guitar in the shortest distance, it would create a great piece of equipment, so I immediately made an offer to Mr. Imanishi, the company's president, and we started developing it together with Limetone Audio.

In order to downsize the pedal-sized irodori to the character module size, the parts had to be selected from scratch. In particular, the selection of the key amplification element was extremely difficult, and the sound was adjusted many times. After a year, the ""irodori onboard"" was born.

The ""irodori onboard"" is not only suitable for artists who normally use the irodori on a constant basis, but also for those who have been creating their sound in a carefully selected ""instrument & amp"" environment, it can be added to the system without changing it.
