This is the new standard model in the SL-1200 series, inheriting the technology of the SL-1200G announced in 2016, while incorporating newly developed technologies such as a single-rotor coreless direct drive motor, a dual-layer platter, a dual-layer housing, and an aluminum pipe tone arm.
