An advanced equalizer plug-in with patented Structural Split technology. The culmination of years of hard work, SplitEQ works in a fundamentally different way than traditional EQs. A new approach to creatively rebalance, enhance, repair, widen and retouch audio signals and other sources.

SplitEQ is a parametric EQ with 8 bands of precise, musical filters. What sets it apart from traditional EQs is Eventide's powerful Structural Split engine, which splits the incoming audio into a TRANSIENT stream and a TONALE stream that feed into 8 bands. This approach makes it easy to solve common EQ problems, even in complex mixes, and opens up exciting new musical possibilities.

SplitEQ considers sound to be in a ""structure"". It splits any sound into two streams, one for tonal and one for transient, just as humans perceive it. You can then cut or boost only the parts of the sound that bother you. SplitEQ is not just a correction tool. It is a creative tool that adds a new dimension to the mix process with independent Left/Right and Mid/Side panning.
