Joe Ierardi and George Taylor have been pursuing piano sound sources since their days at Kurzweil. They have spent about five years since the release of the first Ivory to present Ivory II to the world. String resonance, refined samples with up to 18 velocity layers, and half pedal support. This is the new benchmark for the ""best piano sound source.""

Ivory Grand Pianos II is a virtual grand piano sound source that uses a total of more than 77GB of samples. All 88 keys are recorded at up to 10 dynamic levels (including an extended low range of one octave!). Each sample is recorded in 32-bit with no loops, and the natural decay to silence is perfectly finished.
