Produced and directed by Grammy Award-winning American composer and conductor Eric Whitacre, and by an elite choir, this choir source will enrich your music. This work was recorded at the Lyndhurst Hall of London's world-class recording studio "AIR Studios". This means that this work is a perfect match for the existing SPITFIRE AUDIO library.

When SPITFIRE AUDIO co-founders Paul and Christian met Eric with the idea of ​​sampling a choir, he took some time to consider the project. Eventually Eric came to the idea that the project would free the composer from "voice prejudice" and that it would be the perfect way to improve music production, and he agreed with the project. This work "ERIC WHITACRE CHOIR" is a huge library containing 200GB of samples in an uncompressed state, but it is not designed to be used only for tricky. "I write an orchestra for my voice. That's my way of thinking," says Eric. From delicate whispers to throaty awkward sounds, from vague overtone clouds to colorful overtone palettes, this work has far more potential than a typical choir sound source.

After accepting the project, Eric soon found an ideal recording method for choir sampling at home. This method reflects his method of composition, in which every tone is devised to be complete with his music. He calls this "hyper-musicality". In a week-long recording, Eric has the potential for vocal techniques, from the generation of harmonics that change with vowel changes to open vocalizations and unusual articulations including shorts and rhythmic passages. I made most of the actual sounds.
