COBALT5S (Cobalt Five S) is the latest model of MODAL in the UK and is a 5 voice extended virtual analog synthesizer.
Although the price is for beginners / entries, it is a product that appeals to a wide range of users because it is equipped with a sound engine equivalent to the high-end model of the COBALT series and MODAL's proud editor MODALapp can be used free of charge. MPE compatible, 37-key mini-keyboard X / Y / Z pressure-sensitive touchpad, 16 encoders, OLED screen, compact yet fulfilling interface. High-performance features such as expansion to 10 voices by connecting two units with a 4TR sequencer and polychain. With a slim design that uses a blue aluminum panel and a polycarbonate body, it can be played in various environments as a mobile device that can be easily carried.
