This model's biggest feature is designed to allow you to hold the body firmly without stress by angling the part where your elbow touches when holding the body.

Many players use their elbow as a fulcrum whether they are sitting or standing, and we believe that the ""comfort"" of this part is very important in experiencing the sound of the back of the body, which is the fulcrum from the abdomen to the navel. Taking into account individual differences such as arm length and hand size, the length of the contour cut is designed to be as long as possible (from the end of the body to the point where it enters the waist).

Ibanez The original wooden thumb rest is a feature of the AEGB model.
The entire circumference is designed to preserve the rounded acoustic bass feel and not cover the sound hole, and the finger rest is stepped with a line extending from the neck to the bridge along the strings. Since players place their thumbs in different positions, the design is made to accommodate as many different playing forms as possible.
By simply moving your thumb along the line of the thumb rest, you can easily enjoy changing the tone, from a tight sound when playing closer to the bridge to a fuller sound when playing closer to the neck.
This rest is fixed to the body top only at three screw points, and the rest is floating. The distance to the strings is narrower (than without a rest), making it easier to play and helping to prevent resonance.
