16 first violins, 14 second violins, 12 violas, 10 cellos and 8 double basses... 59 short and 94 long articulations, and 5 special legato performances by a total of 60 star players and programmed by Andrew Blaney. All sounds are recorded with multiple round robins, dynamics layers, and three microphone positions. In addition to individual section patches, ensemble patches are also included, perfect for sketching out your musical compositions.

Designed to be the definitive symphonic strings sound source, SPITFIRE SYMPHONIC STRINGS includes a wide range of samples, from classic and elegant vibrato to subdued ""dolce"" samples, as well as modern techniques designed by a team of award-winning composers and producers.
