Medium-sized string sound source specializing in legato expression
This string sound source uses the knowledge that Spitfire Audio has accumulated over 15 years and adopts the next-generation legato technology ""Impluse Legato"".

A medium-sized ensemble (8,6,6,6,4) that brought together London's top players, and was recorded at Lyndhurst Hall in AIR Studios, the same place as ""SPITFIRE CHAMBER STRINGS"" and ""SPITFIRE SYMPHONIC STRINGS"".

The legato patch, which is the main part of this product, sounds slur legato, bow legato, and portamento (1st/2nd Violin, Cello only*) according to the velocity, and expresses your inspiration directly through the keyboard. The ""hairpin"" articulation, available in multiple lengths, shows various expressions by manipulating the dynamics, playing short but nuanced notes.

*1st/2nd Violin - E4 and above, Cello - A2 and above, only applies to note transitions of 5ths or more within an octave and maximum dynamics layer (near 100% dynamics). Triggered at velocity 120-127.

Lightweight operability for flowing phrases
One of the reasons this product focuses on legato is that it allows you to easily handle the world's best sounds.

It frees composers from a tremendous number of articulations and complex key switch programming, and sublimates them into the player. Just play a melody while operating the modulation wheel to output the sound you want.

Behind the scenes, five dynamics layers (pp, mp, mf, f, ff), four types of round robin, and three legato dynamics layers work like precision machinery to maximize expressiveness.

Seven microphone signals are available: ""Close,"" ""Decca Tree,"" ""Ambience,"" ""Outrigger,"" ""Close Ribbon,"" ""Stereo Room,"" and ""Stereo Mid."" There are also four pre-mixed signals based on these, ensuring professional quality sound.
