This A-mount lens has succeeded in dramatically increasing the speed of motion tracking performance, approximately four times faster than the previous model (70-400mm F4-5.6 G SSM). The AF acquisition ability during continuous shooting has been significantly improved, allowing the AF to track fast-moving subjects with high accuracy, such as when photographing sports or animals.
