The SR24 is a 2ch/4-band equalizer. Each control function is equipped with a dedicated knob or switch. Continuously variable control of frequency and boost/cut is possible. This allows precise equalization of audio material.
The SR24's circuit design has deep roots in API's history. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, an audio company called "APSI" manufactured consoles and equalizers. Their 562 module was a 4-band fully parametric equalizer designed by APSI and sold through API. Over the past few decades, these EQ modules have been popular among many studio engineers, but are becoming increasingly hard to find. The SR24 is a faithfully redesigned version of the original 562, providing 2 channels of classic analog EQ in one rack-mount unit. ■Features ・4-band EQ modeled after the classic APSI 562EQ ・Per-band knobs provide continuously variable control of frequency and gain ・12dB boost/cut on each band ・All 4 bands have peak/dip parametric configuration ・Custom transformer balanced output ・1/4" and XLR balanced inputs and outputs ・Large headroom with +24dB clip level
