The WAZA-AIR BASS is a groundbreaking headphone-type bass amp that completely changes the performance environment of such bassists. It reproduces the natural sound spread and resonance, as well as the "movement of air" created by the sound of the instrument, creating a realistic sound field like never before. In addition, the gyro sensor detects the movement of the player's head, and the reverberation and positioning of the sound change according to that movement. A three-dimensional sound field resonates inside the headphones, as if the bass amp was playing right in front of you. ■High-quality bass amps and effects You can also change the type of amp and effects from the dedicated app BOSS TONE STUDIO to customize your favorite sound. The bass amp comes with five high-quality types. It supports a wide range of styles, from clean and punchy modern sounds to sounds driven by vintage vacuum tube amps. Effects include not only compressors, overdrives, EQs, and touch wah, but also a wide range of modulation, spatial effects, octaves, bass synths, and ring modulators. Up to six set-up sounds can be saved in the internal memory and can be quickly recalled and used using the button on the side of the headphones. ■Selectable performance environment You can choose from three modes for the immersive ambience (sound field). Surround mode reproduces the room resonance as if you were playing an amp in a studio. In static mode, the amp in front of you resonates in a three-dimensional and realistic position in accordance with the player's head movement, just like in a real space. Stage mode creates a sound field in which you can hear the amp sound from behind you, as well as the music streamed from your smartphone and the built-in acoustic drums, as if you were performing on stage.
