The Hydrasynth series from Ashun Sound Machines (ASM), a new hardware manufacturer based in Los Angeles, California and Hong Kong. This compact model features an 8-voice sound source, a mid-sized keyboard, and is battery-powered.

The ASM Hydrasynth Explorer takes the already legendary Hydrasynth synthesizer to new heights.
The Hydrasynth Explorer features the same 8-voice sound engine as the Hydrasynth Keyboard & Desktop, yet is compact and battery-powered.
Despite its small, mid-sized 37-key keyboard, it supports polyphonic aftertouch with a PolyTouch keybed, achieving superior playability and expressiveness.
The sound engine, which offers deep and intricate sound shaping possibilities while remaining easy to use, consists of the acclaimed WaveScan oscillator, mutator-based sound shaping, a highly flexible dual filter section, a 32-slot modulation matrix, and dual insert/master effects, guaranteeing a lifetime of sonic enjoyment.
With CV/GATE outputs for easy connection to modular synthesizers and other devices, and USB MIDI and full-size MIDI DIN connectors, it can be easily connected to any device without the need for special cables.
Furthermore, it supports battery operation with eight AA batteries, achieving true portability for use on the go.
