Launched in 2008 by Tiptop Audio, the Z5000 was the world's first Eurorack-compatible DSP effects module and Tiptop Audio's first product. Bringing the category of CV-controllable digital effects to Eurorack for the first time, the Z5000 eventually evolved into a Z-DSP open source platform. And now, after more than a decade of research on the various signals used in Eurorack, the Z5000 has evolved into a whole new version. This 8HP downsized Z5000 is a CV-controllable stereo multi-effect. The combination of a DSP chip and a VC analog clock generator creates 24 gorgeous effects such as superb reverb, delay, modulation, harmonizer, and pitch modulation. Many of the Z5000's programs have an experimental and aggressive side, with reference to various studio techniques from the dawn of recording to the present day, combining multiple effects in series or in parallel.
