Even if you get an 8-channel or 16-channel input section with this model 473, it would cost only a few vintage modules (maintenance costs will be added). Until now, it was only a dream to have all the inputs connected to the NEVE 1073 module. The model 473 is a masterpiece that is carefully crafted one by one on a made-to-order basis. The two-band EQ section, which condenses the charm of NEVE, is enough to give beauty and impact to instruments and vocals. Even with extreme equalization, the music resonates beautifully, and a smooth, silky sound is obtained. The high range can be switched between 5.6kHz and 12kHz, and the low range can be switched between 60Hz and 110Hz. The head amplifier with 70dB gain is the sound of the NEVE 1073 (1272) itself. It reproduces the sound that brings out the charm of music to the fullest, which can only be adjusted by Mr. Upton, who knows vintage NEVE inside and out. The highest quality step gain controller, custom transformer, and other VIntech-Audio-specific attention to detail are thoroughly implemented. Efficiently arranged, easy-to-use functions such as input impedance settings that expand the possibilities of sound creation, mic/line switch, 48V phantom, phase inversion, and EQ bypass are all available. The inputs are equipped with independent line and mic inputs on the rear, a Hi-Z input for instruments on the front, and a wide range of inputs and outputs including XLR and phone. It is also optimized for tasks such as adding the NEVE analog texture to line material or instruments and returning them to a track.
