The original vintage Neve 33609 succeeded the 2254 and is a standard compressor for recording and broadcasting stations. It has a unique sound that can only be expressed by the NEVE 33609, and can enhance the brilliance of music. In the VINTECH-AUDIO 609CA, the class A/B circuit of the NEVE 33609 has been updated to a class A circuit. Each channel is luxuriously equipped with 3 units x 2ch of custom transformers (iron core). A richer, more powerful sound than the original has been achieved. The majestic stability of the mid-low range and the top end that is never harsh (yet vivid and delicate expressiveness) are the very essence of the traditional British sound. The beautiful analog sound, with every last reverb, is of a quality that cannot possibly be achieved with modern equipment or plug-ins. The 609CA can be used in stereo link or dual mono. The limiter and compressor sections are completely independent.
