Tiptop Audio Fold Processor is a wave multiplier / sub-octave generator with CV control. The circuit is based on the classic diode design. It folds the input signal, adds odd harmonics, and simultaneously produces a split square wave.
Wavefolder creates new waveforms from standard sine, triangle, sawtooth and square waves. With a dedicated output jack with attenuator and CV input, you can easily create beautifully changing folding sounds. Adjustable CV injection produces a wider sound when you change the bias point.
The subdivide generator converts the fold output into a square wave, producing four sounds spaced one octave apart. Each sound has an independent gain knob and is mixed into the SUBDIV OUT jack. By mixing these four waveforms, you can get a variety of sounds, from irregular square wave soms to sweet harmonic oscillator stacks, to stable square wave versions of folded waveforms to glitches like freaky PLLs.
