Sound Particles is a stand-alone software that creates millions to millions of sound sources in a virtual 3D acoustic space based on the concept of CG. In addition to stereo to 5.1 / 7.1ch output formats, it also supports immersive audio production such as 7.1.2 / 13.1 / 22.2ch. It's easy to create complex sound effects like never before.

Let's say you want to make a battlefield sound. Take 50 war-related materials from your sound effect library, generate 10,000 particles = sound sources, and place them one square mile above. The entire sound field (scene) set in this way is exported as an audio file. The output format of the virtual microphone that "captures" the scene can also be selected from 5.1ch or Dolby Atmos ?? 7.1.2ch bed.

Each particle randomly picks and plays one of the captured war-related sounds. One particle plays the first audio file, another particle plays the second file, and so on. Placements within one square mile are also random.
To create a more interesting process, add parameters. In addition to movement, random changes in volume, delay, EQ, pitch, etc. are applied.

The placed virtual microphone is responsible for capturing the sound of the sound field (scene). It also reflects the position and orientation of the microphone and the position of the particles. All particle audio is rendered with factors such as attenuation due to distance to the microphone, sound source speed, and Doppler effect.

Audio files

It acts like a voice camera and records the entire sound field from the set point. By arranging several types of microphones, it is possible to capture various locations and directivity. Output is set in mono, stereo, 2D / 3D surround, and Ambisonics.

Fluctuations in audio parameters
Adding a variable element makes the sound of particles even more diverse. Random effects range from simple elements such as volume and delay to complex effects such as EQ, pitch shift, and granular effects.

Fluctuation of operating parameters
You can also add variable elements to the movement of particles. Apply random values ​​for velocity, rotation, acceleration, etc.

Immersive Audio
It handles vertical position information in space and supports the 3D format called immersive type these days. In addition to Dolby Atmos ?? bed, Auro 3D ?? 11.1 / 13.1ch, 22.2ch, etc., you can also set your own speakers including the ceiling layer.

Video display, VR
You can capture video clips and check the video content for audio synchronization. It also supports 360-degree videos of VR content. Place the particles at the time and position they will play.

Binaural output
Mixing any audio format can be decoded into binaural audio. With Ambisonics' virtual microphone and VR app, you can listen to mixing that works with 360 videos.
