Traditional TOM-type bridges do not allow adjustment of the string height for each individual string, and only have two studs as points of contact with the body. The FCH-TOM bridge not only allows adjustment of the string height for each individual string, but also ensures that the bottom of the bridge is always in close contact with the guitar body (using a connecting shim plate when appropriate). This means there is no loss of sustain or vibration to the body. String height adjustment is achieved by rotating the centre of the eCAM, which raises and lowers the string height. The saddle does not tilt or wobble, and precise string height adjustment is possible with the bottom always in close contact with the base plate. The saddle is also equipped with a screw that locks the saddle to the base plate, providing excellent stability.
