Sets the reverb fade-out speed and controls feedback in certain modes. CHARACTER: Adjusts additional parameters of the selected algorithm. BYPASS: Press once to turn the effect ON/OFF. Press and hold to enter infinity mode, where you can freeze the sound and extend it infinitely while you hold it down. Pressing this switch while selecting PROGRAM selects the Bank 2 algorithm. Additionally, with the Force Roar and Force OctDn algorithms, the footswitch freezes another sound. ●Algorithms With the Astronaut III, the CHARACTER knob parameter changes depending on the algorithm selected. There are two types of algorithms stored in two banks. Each bank contains 11 algorithms, with Bank 1 containing the standard sounds for each, and Bank 2 containing alternative versions of the sounds. The algorithm is selected with the PROGRAM knob. Pressing the BYPASS footswitch while selecting PROGRAM selects the sounds in Bank 2.
